SUMMARY:Conscious Cafe London Lunch
DESCRIPTION:ConsciousCafe invites you to join our first London Lunch of 2025 which will be held in Central London. You will have the opportunity to meet likeminded conscious people and chat over a meal in a relaxed atmosphere. \nMany beautiful friendships and connections have been created at our London lunches and dinners. We love it when we see people exchanging their contact details as they leave. There is always a special bond when you enjoy deep conversations together. \nWe choose restaurants which are good value for money with a selection of dishes to suit all dietary requirements. You will receive your own bill at the end of the meal and will only pay for what you have ordered. We reckon a budget of £20 - £35 should cover your meal. \nWe know we are getting it right when people ask us at the end of the lunch – or dinner – ‘when is the next one?’ So far this has happened every time . \nIf you would like to come to our February Lunch please send a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person to book your place. This covers our administration costs for the event. If places are sold out please email Judy@consciouscafe.org to go on the waiting list as sometimes guests cancel at the last moment. \nPlaces are limited so please book as soon as you can to reserve your seat at the table. During the meal you will have the chance to move around and meet different people. If you want to invite a conscious friend to come with you of course that’s fine but this is a spiritual networking event so be prepared to connect with other people and not just talk to the person you have come with. If you do make a booking for two tickets please let us know the name and contact details of your friend. \n‘Interesting people\, lovely food and great atmosphere. Looking forward to the next one already’. TK \n‘I love the opportunity to talk about my work with people who understand what I do’. JS\, energy healer \n‘I always look forward to your dinners. They are such a treat’. BD

SUMMARY:How has the COVID-19 Pandemic shifted your personal values and priorities?
DESCRIPTION:Who Am I Now?\nJoin us for a wonderful opportunity for you to examine your personal transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. \nIn spring 2020\, a few weeks later after the WHO announcement\, Phil Clothier led the team at Barrett Values Centre in a global values assessment to measure and explore the shift that was taking place in personal consciousness and organisational culture. \nTransformations that typically take between 5 and 7 years had emerged in less than 6 weeks. What happened to the individuals and leaders within these organisations to bring about this rapid shift in values? \nDuring the session Phil will ask you to reflect on\, and share\, your own personal values and how they have informed your response and priorities during lockdown and the choices you make for your future. \nIn order for you to get the most out of this session\, please take the Values Assessment. It takes 5 minutes\, it’s free and you can bring the results with you. \nAbout Phil Clothier\nPhil Clothier: is a team member (and former CEO) of Barrett Values Centre (BVC)\, an international organisation currently working through a consulting network in over 100 countries. He works with leaders to bring about values based\, ethical and sustainable transformation. Prior to BVC Phil had careers in social housing and information technology. \nHe has worked with corporations\, governments and NGOs around the world and been an advisor on National Values Assessments in over 25 countries. In Latvia\, Sweden and Iceland the results of the values assessments have been instrumental in reorienting public policies. \nHis main focus now is inspiring and supporting leadership development and cultural transformation in service of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He believes that the main purpose of business (and all organisations) is to do no harm\, alleviate suffering and facilitate healing and thriving. He believes the UN SDGs are the best chance we have to come together to create well-being and peace for all and to live in harmony with nature. \nPhil says\, “My core values are Compassion\, Trust\, Humour/Fun & Love. I also know that my personal job is very simply to focus on inner peace. (Easier said than done!). I am married to Catherine who also works for Barrett Values Centre\, my daughter Emily is a doctor and my son Scott works for a green energy company. I am a mountain biker and love time in nature. I am an active member of the local village community (handy with a shovel and litter picker).” \nRegister for the event here \nValues & Covid Conscious Cafe Oct2020 Phil Clothier share version

SUMMARY:The Value of Community
DESCRIPTION:A breakfast conversation to be facilitated by Cora Kemball-Cook \nJoin us to reflect on the friendships you've made during lockdown and think about who you would like to spend your time with in the future. \nCovid-19 and its aftermath has given all of us a new perspective on the value of the people we have in our lives. Some of us have made new unexpected friendships online; others have got to know and appreciate the neighbours in their street. Many of us have missed seeing not just our family and friends but also our work colleagues. \nThis facilitated discussion will give you an opportunity to reflect on some of the new and unexpected friendships you have made in spite of the limitations of lockdown and to think about who you would like to spend your time with in the future. \nRegister for the event here

SUMMARY:Discussion on the topic of Identity
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Tamara Alferoff \nWhat does it mean to have an identity? How do you identify yourself? Is it a stable state\, or an evolving process? And what about other people - can you identify for example friend or foe? Are you a separate ’thing'? Who belongs with you and  who not\, and could that change?  \n\n\nRecent world events are highlighting such questions and calling forth our deeper wisdom.   \n\nWe have an exciting new and very relaxed venue for this event which is right next door to Swiss Cottage tube station\, just two stops from Baker Street tube.\n \nThe event price includes one non-alcoholic drink (hot or cold) and light refreshments\n \nAttendees at our Identity Event\n \n\n \n\n \n \n \nTamara Alferoff\n\n \n\nFor nearly forty years Tamara has taken great pleasure in facilitating workshops and retreats\, addressing a wide range of topics including: Symptoms\,  Conflict Clarification\, Council of All Beings\, Co-Counselling Training\, Group Dynamics\, Dream Groups\, Well-Being\, Body\, Relationships\, Despair and Empowerment\, Food\, Money\, Inner Child\, Fear and Freedom\, Creativity\, Parenting\, Aging and Illness\, including some new and exciting themes coming up.  Participants on Tamara's events often experience a deeper sense of connection\, purpose\, and peace\, as well as coming out lighter and more connected in relationship to self\, other\, and the world.  Times of intensive work relieved with periods for solitude and silence. SUMMARY:Moving from Thinking & Doing to Being & Allowing: The New Way of Doing Business
DESCRIPTION:AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP FACILITATED by CLAUDIA ROTH \n For many years we have all been used to working in a certain way. But now the fast-changing world in which we live combined with a myriad of new technology is changing all that. \nNew rules for the way to work best are constantly being created and it is only the limitations of our mind-set that prevent us from moving as fast and as effectively as we would like. \nTechnology combined with rising consciousness offers modern different ways of thinking and being. One of the most important skills is to learn to create by having a sense of who we are in the world and what we want to achieve.  With clear focus and the ability to ‘allow’ for things to happen\, we attract situations and circumstances which are more aligned to our purpose and who we are.  \nClaudia Roth will share her experience of moving from a state of constantly ‘doing’ (a sign of success in the corporate world) to a new place of ‘allowing’ in the process\, transforming her life professionally and personally to a new level of inner connectedness. During the evening you will learn\, discuss and explore how to unlearn some of the habits you are so familiar with i.e. your success patterns and discover how to start creating a more smooth-flowing lifestyle in alignment with your purpose. You will gain awareness of how to become much more effective in allowing life to flow the way you want it to. Be warned … it is a journey of unlearning! \nClaudia Roth Biography \nAn experienced\, global senior corporate executive and former Vice President Europe\, Middle East & Africa of The Leading Hotels of the World (the world’s largest hospitality organisation\, representing over 375 of the finest hotels\, resorts and spas such as The Ritz London\, the Sandy Lane in Barbados … the best of the best)\, her sweet spot is using her mastery of business and awareness to inspire others to see the business world differently. Claudia enjoys a strong track record in managing and leading multi-cultural organizations and teams through growth and change. \nDescribed as “a pioneer in luxury and consciousness” and a global citizen\, she helps decision makers reach beyond their own boundaries and limitations to create a new paradigm of success. She believes in reconnecting employees to the business\, to the brand and customers – by opening the door to greater awareness\, expanding beyond perceived limitations\, and exploring the possibilities and depths of success. \nSmart companies have woken up to the fact that change has to come from within – and that nothing less than genuine awareness\, personal integrity and emotional engagement will do in such a fast changing and transparent environment. She is the founder and Managing Director of Soul Luxury\, an innovative client-experience company that unites the worlds of business and awareness. \n  \n  \nCancellation policy\nIf you cancel up to 72 hours before the event we can either refund your money\, less 10% admin costs\, or you can have a full credit for a future ConsciousCafe event to be used within two years. \n
